Hopefully this is the case. However what are teens using to get high, are they leaning towards the cheaper stuff, which is much more dangerous. Bath salts and synthetics which are being sold often take the place for teens who are often not concerned with the dangers or the long term effects.
Teens have typically felt like they are impervious to harm. And will try a cheap thrill. Many of us have memories of high school friends who turned themselves into zombies on cheap thrills.
